🔯Visit to Sugar Loaf and Maracanã Stadium 🔯

2.The Sugar Loaf

Sugar Loaf is a landmark peak overlooking Rio de Janeiro and the entrance of Guanabara Bay, in southeastern Brazil.

Named for its shape, the conical, granitic peak (1,296 feet) lies at the end of a short range between Rio de Janeiro and the Atlantic Ocean.

At its base is the fortress of São João. A cable car runs from its summit to the adjacent Urca Hill.

3. Journey to Sugar loaf

Sugarloaf Mountain is reached by two sets of cable cars. The first ride takes you from the base to a viewing platform that seems like the grand finale.

From here, you’ll hop on another cable car that actually takes you to Sugarloaf where the views are even broader and more sweeping.

You’ll have great views of Christ the Redeemer on a clear day and the famous Copacabana Beach will be in eyeshot.

The views of Christ de redeemer from Sugarloaf are amazing but you won’t have the iconic mountain in your photo from there. Worth noting: for a super great shot, plop yourself in front of Sugarloaf when you’re on the first viewing platform.

9. Marmoset in rio ,sugar loaf

I found a marmoset at sugar loaf….common marmosets do not naturally occur at the Sugarloaf Mountain. They are an invasive species in the woods of Rio de Janeiro.
