This is the trip we’ve been planning for months — three of us, one suitcase each of nervous excitement, and a route that takes us from the ruins of Rome to the volcanic dunes of the Atlantic, with an 8-night cruise stitching it all together. Here’s exactly how it’s going to unfold.

One continuous loop, no backtracking — every flight moves us forward, never back over ground we’ve already covered by land. It’s the structural choice that makes 22 nights across 4 countries feel unhurried instead of frantic.

💡 WHY THIS JOURNEY IS UNIQUE (COST PERSPECTIVE)

Most 22-night Europe trips force a choice: either a cruise or a proper land itinerary — combining both usually means paying twice for transport and lodging redundancy. Our route avoids that trade-off. The total, ₹6,79,033 for 3 adults, 22 nights, works out to roughly ₹10,290 per person per day — genuinely competitive for Western Europe, and here’s exactly why:

  • The cruise absorbs 8 nights of accommodation, all meals, and transport between 5 countries into one fixed fare (₹1,43,100 + ₹33,200 gratuities). A land-only version of the same ground — Rome to Savona to Marseille to Barcelona to Malaga to Cadiz to the Canary Islands — would cost multiples of this in separate hotels, trains, and flights.
